What are the differences between needle roller bearings and cylindrical roller bearings?

Needle roller bearings are roller bearings with cylindrical rollers which are both thin and long relative to their diameter. Despite the small cross-section, the bearings have a high load carrying capacity. Needle roller bearings are fitted with thin and long rollers and therefore have a compact radial structure, with the same inner diameter dimensions and load carrying capacity as other types of bearings, with the smallest outer diameter, and are particularly suitable for support structures where the radial mounting dimensions are restricted.

Cylindrical roller bearings are centripetal rolling bearings with cylindrical rollers. The internal structure of cylindrical roller bearings adopts parallel arrangement of rollers, with spacer keeper or isolation block between rollers, which can prevent tilting of rollers or mutual friction between rollers, and effectively prevent the increase of rotating torque.
